Matt LeBlanc's most horrendously terrible tryout acquired him the job of Joey Tribbiani on Companions, one of his most popular characters right up 'til now.

"I recollect that I had gone in a lot of times and I think it was on the last callback, I had gone with a companion of mine to run lines," LeBlanc recalled during the exceptionally expected Companions gathering, which appeared on HBOMax in May 2021.

I was like, 'Definitely, that is smart!'" It turned out not to be smart, in any case.

"To spare the nitty-gritty details, I awakened around midnight at his loft and needed to go to the restroom," LeBlanc made sense of.

"I got up excessively quick and I can't really accept that I'm telling this, yet I sort of passed out — as you do — and fell face-first into the latrine, hit my nose on the lower part of the latrine seat, and a colossal lump of meat fell off my nose.

What's more, I'm thoroughly searching in the mirror, it's dying, and I'm like, 'Goodness, my God. I need to go in for the enormous callback and [there's] a major revolting scab on my nose.'"
