This week I am attending the Microsoft annual sales conference – known as MGX (Microsoft Global Exchange) – in Atlanta, GA. I am here with around 13,000 of my peers learning about some of the great new stuff we are focusing on for our new fiscal year. While I am doing that, I thought I would share this video interview of one of our customers with you. Enjoy!

From Facebook to Twitter to face-to-face meetings, the key to engaging with your organization’s constituents from a business perspective is to ensure that there is an open door for dialogue. The Department of Agriculture is getting a consensus on what Gov 2.0 means for the agency and how it may be useful over time. The agency’s face- to-face interaction with the agricultural industry – farmers and private land owners – is very productive. The agency is also looking at other technological tools to supplement this interaction coupled with other challenges that would affect such efforts like broadband access within the farming community.
